Life
Greetings
As some of you already know, in the summer of 1980 I joined the Navy. Let me tell you ...I had a GREAT time. Only a few can say that. I was lucky enough to take advantage of certain opportunities that just happened to land my way. I married my 1st wife in 1985, we have three children, 29(son) ,23(son) and 20(daughter). They are very respectable and love their parents. In 1995, I applied for an early retirement with a pension from the U.S. Navy, it was approved. I went to school and earned a degree in Aviation Technology and began working for United Airlines. While at United I was promoted to foreman and incharge of the mantenance of various aircrafts. n Business Management. Presently I'm a Supervising Counselor working in the probation department for the county I'm living in.
I'm now happily remarried, retired from the Navy and working hard with not much spare time at all...So far life has been good...
Military
I jioned the Navy in 1980. It was the wises decision I have ever made in my life. While in the Navy, I was a aircraft mechanic and an helicopter crewman. I took advantage of most the Navy had to offer, including visiting ten different countries, meeting lots of people and continued education. No...military isn't for everyone, one must adapt. One must be able to persevere and not forget who you are...Focus on the goals you'er trying to acheive, though many obsticlse may try to block your path, continue to press on.
