Les's Story
After graduating from Glenbrook High School ('59-Northbrook,IL.), attended Coe College ('59-'63), in Cedar Rapids,Iowa. Played football (4-yrs.);All-Midwest Conference; Vice Pres. of the Student Body: Dorm Counselor (2-yrs.);Sigma Nu Fraternity Officer and National Rep.; Officer of Inter-Fraternity Council; Officer of Letterman's Club: Misc. Academic Scholarships.
After Coe, received 3-yr. full-tuition and expenses scholarship to the University of Minnesota Law School ('63-'66). Practiced law in Minneapolis as a Managing Partner of a mid-sized Law Firm until 1982, specializing in Corporate and Securities Law, Acquisitions & Mergers.
Moved to Houston, Texas, ('82), and have served as Executive Offi...Expand for more
cer and Director of several Oil & Gas Exploration and Production Companies. Currently Corporate Legal Counsel for Quantum Energy Resources, Inc. located in Houston, Tx. Quantum Energy is very active in the exploration and production of oil and natural gas in the Texas Gulf Coast Area.
Currently married to Jan Kittler, a Texas native, (married 1991), and have two children Kurt (1966) and Kim (1968) from a previous marriage ('63-'88), plus seven Grandchildren ranging in ages from 15 yrs. to 8 yrs. They live in the Houston Area, and we enjoy frequent Family Events together.
Have a home on Lake Houston since '92, and enjoy all types of outdoor activities, including hunting, boating, skiing and tennis.
