Lesley's Story
Life
I've attended many weddings and funerals since high school and managed, until Sept 2003, to avoid being the center of attention at them. No, I'm not writing this from The Great Beyond; I was a bride in a white dress, not a corpse in a casket, September 2003. Married life has been good to me despite the fact that I married someone who attended the rival college of my alma mater. Apple Cup takes on a whole new meaning at our place, and it lasts all year. :-) I still dream about winning the lottery and bankrolling the research that finds a cure for cancer, but I...Expand for more

College
I went to UW straight from high school and made it out in 4 years (by the skin of my teeth). I've got a BA in psych, but my current job doesn't require me to utilize it directly. My previous job utilized my BA directly, but only paid me $9/hr; I wasn't going to be able to support myself AND save money, so I regrettfully made a change.
One of my fondest memories of college is living in Hansee Hall w/o a roommate, and having access to a pool table in one of the lounges 24/7.
