Leslie's Story
Life
Aaron Patz and I were married on September 9, 2006. The wedding was absolutely lovely - I could not have asked for a better day.
I currently work at a community music school as the Events & Individual Gifts Manager in development. My job is to "cultivate donors" which sounds like gardening and it sort of is. I educate people about the music school where I work and the programs we offer and they make a decision about getting involved.
I also continue to play the piano, flute, and compose. I have written two musicals for adults with mental and developmental disabilities and hope to do more of this type of work in the future. I enjoy living near most of my family though I often miss the mountains and perma green scenery of Seattle.
College

y even though I spent the first three years concentrating on music history and theory. I was a member of the Husky Marching Band for all 4.25 years that I attended and was piccolo section leader for two of those years. I sincerely wish I'd been more outgoing in college and perhaps a little less uptight - I doubt most of my college friends would recognize my personality as a "grown up." I no longer dress like I'm 18 going on 40, thank god. I really miss HMB and the friends I made, though. I miss parties and dancing and trips. With the exception of University of Arizona in Tucson where my parents now live, I went to all of the Pac-10 schools on road trips with HMB. I attended three bowl games - the Sun Bowl in '95; the Holiday Bowl in '96; and the JEEP Aloha Bowl in '97. I wouldn't trade my experience for anything. Bow is indeed up.
