Lester's Story
I graduated from Dayton Street School in 1960. I lived in the Otto Kretchmer Projects.
I went to Southside High School for a year and a half.
I graduated from Newark Tech in January of 1965.
My mother was Verna. Brother: Jimmy, Sisters: Eileen, Marie and Patty. Step-sisters: Debbie and Barbara.
I attended the Cranford Christian and Missionary Alliance Church as a teenager and young adult.
I graduated Nyack College in 1969. I finished Jaffrey School of Missions in 1970. The "then" picture is one of Wanda and I at age 20, attending World Missions and Review in New York City. It was a great date!
I married Wanda Rhodes on June 6, 1969. Our son, Andrew, was born June 14, 1970. Our daughter, Angela, was born July 8, 1972.

nary at the Methodist Theological School in Delaware.
I have been a United Methodist minister for 32 years. I have been director of the Epworth Center in Bethesda, Ohio for the past seven years.
My wife Wanda is a United Methodist minister and the district superintendent of the Southern Hills District.
I like to swim, fish and hunt. I enjoy spending time with my children, Andrew and Angela, and their families. We have two grandchildren, Brooke (age 4) and Mitchell (2 mos). We baptized Mitchell at the Glenwood UMC in Erie, PA, where Angela and her husband Scott live. It was a great occasion!
I attend the Real Life UMC, which is a United Methodist new church start in Morristown, Ohio. Wanda and I live in St. Clairsville, Ohio.
I would be pleased to receive email communications from any individuals that I have known in my past.
Have a great day!
