Lewis's Story
Life
I have been married for 38 years to Sheila Dickerson my high school sweetheart. The basketball player and the cheerleader. We have two children and four grandchildren.(soon to be five)
I was in the education forces for 33 years. I have done it all in education: teacher, coach, principal, central office, college classes, and ended up in Frankfort as a Deputy Executive Director in the Education Cabinet. I retired from the Education Cabinet June 1, 2007. I now have been lucky enough to be appointed Superintendent of Monroe County Schools. Back home and working again where I love to be.
I love all sports especially ...Expand for more
outdoor sports. Fishing, snorkeling, Hunting, Golfing and you know I will be spending as much time with the GRANDKIDS as possible. I would love for them to enjoy and take care of our environment.
I am enjoying traveling to beautiful places, places I have not been before. The older I get the more I love to take a cruise (as long as it is 80 degrees and above) where people spoil me. I also love to fish in places I have never fished for trophy and species I have never caught.
I enjoy time with friends and family..... we are on the short side of life and we might as well live it to the fullest extent.
The best to ya,
Lew
