Liesl's Story
Life
Currently at UC Santa Barbara, in my 3rd year, as a microbiology major. Still play some violin and viola, but not currently in orchestra or a regular group and definitely not majoring in music. Really involved with hapkido (a martial art) and kickboxing. I teach kid's hapkido and also adult kickboxing and "bands" (strength training).
School
Two words from my junior year: Bee Costume. Enjoyed torturing, I mean spending time with, my teachers, especially meester. Poker in the hall at lunch anyone?
College

ersity of Washington in Seattle for my freshman year, and although it was a good experience, I'm glad I transferred. It's not just the weather that's cold up there.
But now at UCSB, last year was memorable - drinking the night before finals, eating at Woodstock's like EVERY night...
Workplace
Hmmm - thanks to mom and dad, I haven't had to work my way through school. But I'm now, like I said before, teaching kids hapkido and adult kickboxing and bands part time at Martial Arts Family Fitness. The people there are my second family.
