1977: BA in English from Schiller International University and used my degree in the music business to, essentially, write BS for 18 years. But I loved what I did. I was a singer and bandleader and although it's true there are some scumbags in the music business, I worked with and remain good friends with some amazing, lovely people. 2007: I got my BSc. Hons. Psychology from the University of Surrey, Guildford and got a 2.1 (a B+). I did this in the midst of a horrific and much publicised (in the UK) divorce case. Though a graduate Psychologist, I worked as a Project Worker to substance misusers. I enjoyed the work a great deal, the clients have very inspiring stories. I continued working with substance misusers in various guises, including time with the probation service. My last job was with the Crime Reduction Initiative / Lambeth DIP as an Arrest Referral Worker. This basically meant hanging out at the nicks in Lambeth and waiting for "customers" - people who had committed trigger offenses and tested positive for Class As.
