Linda's Story
June 1 1974 married Mario Bonello. 1977 had a son Scott Cameron 1978 had a son Michael Francis Joseph and 1980 had a daughter Lisa Marie. 1984 graduated from Loyalist College in Belleville with a degree in nursing. Worked at Missisauga hospital (now called Trillium health care center)Also got a degree in daycare management and opened up my own daycare.After 23 years we got a divorce. Moved to Cochrane On and met my second husband Richard Yorke. Now divorced and relocated back to Oshawa in May. I have 9 grandchildren 6 girls Grace Bonello, Sophia Bonello Estelle Bonello, Francessca Bonello,Megan May and Sara Bonello 3 boys Tyler Bonello, Preston May and Landon May. Mario passed away in April 2008 of cancer . Even though we divorced I still loved him and always will, he was a good husband and a great father to our children and his grandchildren adored their Nannu. iving so far from my children even harder each trip down south ( Brampton ) would require me to travel 12 hours each way by train. Now I am back in Oshawa and a new life begins looking forward to my new adventures.
I always wanted to be a nurse when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were happy to see me reach my goals.
my oldest and dearest friend is Wendy we met in grade 6 and have remained the best of friends ever since, we like to shop and to travel and to go to the theater and go to the show and eat at good restaurants. My second dearest friend is Trish and we met when our daughters were in jr. kindergarten and even though she has relocated to England we have visited each other and continue to communicate by mail we have been friends for about 24 years now
I have been lucky enough to have travel to Europe, Mexico, the southern states and to Malta and of course parts of Canada I would like to eventually go down east one place I have never gotten to.
