Linda's Story
Life
I am married (have been for almost 16 years). I have 2 children, Michael 14 and Kaitlyn 10. We are members of Holy Trinity parish in St. Ann. I work for St. Louis County. Both Mike and I are involved in Boy Scouts, and our son Michael is an Eagle Scout. I am also a Girl Scout leader and assistant coach for my daughter's volleyball team. I teach Parish School of Religion on Monday nights to 5th graders. In my "spare" time I like to scrapbook.
School
I loved attending school at Pres. It has changed a lot though and just isn't the same. However, when I walk into Holy Trinity, it reminds me a lot of Presentation. Workplace
Not exactly what I'd planned so long ago, but not bad either. I spent some time in Alabama working in a clothing factory (Norma Rae-esque). Once I came home I worked for the City of Charlack for about 3 years, being Police Clerk and Asst. City Clerk. I loved it but it didn't last. Budget cut-backs sent me on my way. I worked as a temp for a while, and put in an app. w/ St. Louis County while on assignment with them. A year later I got a call, and started as a data entry operator with the County Assessor's office. I have been here almost 13 years and have worked my way up to Property Tax Analyst Supervisor, reporting directly to Personal Property Tax Manager, and supervising around 30 staff.
