Life
My Spouse
We officially met while I was visiting with his grandmother. I was there with his first cousin, and he happened to be there visiting with their grandmother. My friend and I left her house and drove to the Dwarf Drive-in and he followed us to the Dwarf. The rest is history. He of course has told me that he had always noticed me at school, but I had my doubts until he told me some of the things that I had done in high school. So guess I did make an impression!
My Pets
Our dog is a Schipperke, age 13 years, solid black, all male, and his name is Prince Ali Bubba aka Bubba. We purchased him while we were living in Alabama. Don said that we could not have him if we did not name him Bubba, because any other name would not fit. He stole our hearts the first time we saw him. We were told by the time he was 6 we would notice a marked difference in his hyperacti...Expand for more
vity, not so...he is still just as active!
Our daughter had 4 cats, but when she passed away, Don and I decided not to keep the cats. Two were adopted, because they were still young enough, but the other two went to a farm somewhere in Middle Tennessee and are living there. We were told it was like a retirement home for animals/pets.
My Kids
We have one daughter, Erin. Don and I suffered the ultimate pain of loosing our daughter, Erin. She was a beautiful, talented and very loving child of God. Unfortunately she suffered from depression so much so that she relied more and more on her prescription medications to "escape". Don and I found her in her room with no life left in her on 21 July 2002. Don and I have been hit very hard by Erin's loss. We would appreciate any feedback from anyone who has suffered the loss of their child. Please, will you keep us in your prayers?
