Linda's Story
Life
Rod and I have been married 25 years . (For those who said we'd never make it...guess what...we did.) We live in Redmond Oregon on 5 acres just outside of town. It is quiet and I would not want to live anywhere else at this point in time. We raise our own beef and pork...which is a WHOLE lot cheaper than what you can get in the market and have goats, We have two children, both out of school. Chris is 23 and working for the Opportunity Foundation of Central Oregon and Sara is 21 and in the US Army as a Combat Engineer (bridge building and demolition...just what every mom wants her daughter to do) and is currently deployed in Iraq. She has re-enlisted for another five years and intends to make the Army her career. I still make candles, paint and do var...Expand for more
ious hobbies and Rod is an avid hunter/fisherman. We both love to ride our quads in the hills close by and on the logging roads high in the Cascade Mountains. Life is good here. I recently learned that I have arthritis in my left knee and it needs to be replaced. Not looking forward to that surgery but if it will let me walk comfortably again, so be it.
Workplace
Rod and I have been married for 25 years ...seems like just yesterday. We live ona small farm in central Oregon and raise much of our own beef and pork. Nothing better than home grown :) We have two children, Chris and Sara. Chris works for OFCO and Sara is in the Army currently deployed in Iraq as a Combat Engineer.We enjoy our life very much and have not regretted our move to Oregon in 1989.
