Linda's Story

Born in Long Beach, California on 10 May 1962. Adopted by Allen and Wyona Kievet. Raised in Southern Oregon. Joined the Air Force right after graduation in 1980. Spent 25 years in the Air Force as a medic. Stationed in TX, Spain, NC, MN, AL and CA. In 1981, met and married Ricky Bott from Dubuque, Iowa. Had one daughter, Lauren. Widowed in 2005. y high school sweetheart, Bob Howard contacted me via Facebook. Less than a month later, Bob came to Iowa to visit me and never left! We married in 2010. We are both retired now from our careers so we enjoy camping, biking, hiking and playing tennis. In my spare time, I do research on Ancestry.com to learn more about my birth family and hope to connect with them one day.
