Linda's Story
Hello classmates! I arrived at Marysville High School sophmore year. As I recall the transition from PHH to Marysville was not too traumatic...every was friendly. Made friends with manhy people, best friend was Tena Campbell. Married Gary Weakland November senior year. After graduation had 1st daughter (Raylene) Feb 1977, 2nd daughter (Amanda) 1978. Gary and I divorced in 1980. Raising 2 kids by myself in those days was not easy but I endured. When the girls were in Middle School I went to Baker College and earned an Associates Degree in Applied Science. Very proud of this. Working full time with 2 kids and going to college full time and...never missing any of the kids ball games (basketball, softball and volleyball) was quite a feat. arried and started a new job at AT&T as a customer service rep. Promoted to Service Rep (top position in the office) and reached top pay within 18 months. Still working there. My husband and I are now enjoying our grandchildren. Raylene had a daughter in 2006, Madyson Grayce Marshall who is 3 at this writing. Amanda had a son 2007, Wyatt Joseph Acre. I am truly blessed to have such a great family. Grandchildren are of course for spoiling (within reason) and sending home. I am blessed that I can get away with playing favorites, 1 fav granddaughter and 1 fav grandson. Sorry no pictures are posted. Cameras and I are not friends as a rule. Anyway that is the short of my life which has been busy but fun. I wouldn't change a thing. If I missed anything you are curious about shoot me a message.
