Linda Allen:  

Hello all! Linda Mahan here... after graduation, it was off to a professional dance career & marriage. This December, Rick Allen & I will have been married for 53 yrs. We have 2 daughters: Lisa age 48 (HR Manager for a major worldwide company) & Leslie age 44, (Reg. Vet Tech). We have 2 Grandsons: Wyatt, age 20 & Owen, age 13. After owning a pro-level dance studio for 18 yrs., I semi-retired to a quiet little ranch in 2000 with our 3 horses, 3 dogs & 3 cats. In 2008, I had major spinal fusion surgery & a spinal pain implant surgery in 2016 (too many years of dancing). Rick retired from I.B.E.W. 14 yrs. ago & then went to work full time as an Electrical Designer. He is now completely retired & needs a hobby! We had the horses since the girls were 11 yrs. old. They rode competitively in Gymkhana & Lisa was Calif. State Champion for 11 yrs. running. Her mare Trace still holds speed records that have yet to be broken. Last year, one by one they all crossed over Rainbow Bridge from old age. The dogs & cats followed soon after... rough year! I did get a new Schipperke puppy, Nita. On 3/2024 we got a new red & white Border Collie puppy Axl, after our boy Drew passed. He is a carbon copy of Drew... the Schipperke is not a happy camper!
