Linda's Story
After I graduated from West High school I left for Chicago and North Park College.
I graduated NPC in 1987 (5 years) with a BA in Psychology, Philosophy and Spanish.
After College I worked for a year and a half at Lydia Children's Home in Chicago.
In 1988 I want to work at North Park Theological Seminary and ended up beginning my seminary education. I worked and took classes so I crammed a four year degree into 11!
While working at NPTS I met my husband Steve. We were married in 1990.
We have no children (by choice...Expand for more
) but have 7 wonderful cats. Yes 7!
I graduated from Seminary in 2001 with a masters of divinity.
I have served 3 different Chicagoland churches.
I was the Faith Leaders' Outreach Coordinator for the Coalition to Save Our Mental Health Centers for a year and half and then started working as book keeper for a friend's veterinary hospital.
Moved to Allouez WI (Green Bay) in November 2014 and am still keeping the books for Merrick Animal Hospital in Brookfield IL. I have a great commute - from my bedroom to my desk.
