Linda's Story
Life
I have been a school teacher for twenty six years. I graduated from U of T in 1984 and I went to teacher's college in Thunder Bay (Lakehead University) in 1985. I am presently teaching a grade one class in Toronto. I have a twelve year old son and he is doing well at school. We have one cat and one dog. We go camping, travelling and I'm also a soccer mom. My favourite place to travel is Hawaii. I hope to spend a lot of time there when I retire. I also love San Diego and going on cruises. I enjoyed my time at Dunbarton High. hool in 1986. I miss all of my friends from Dunbarton High and I hope they are doing well.
School
The teachers who inspired me the most were Mr. Jones, Mr Brown, Mr Worrel and Mr. Brunelle. Mr Jones taught grade 13 history and it was such a fun class. I had a lot of fun taking drama class with Mr Luke and I really enjoyed playing in the band. I also remember studying (or not) in the grade 13 room, drinking hot chocolate and eating the best oatmeal muffins. It was also great to sit outside on a nice spring day. I also enjoyed going to all of the dances with my friends.
