Linda's Story
Life
Life has definately been an adventure! I became a teacher in 1979 and after all these years, I'm still loving it! I teach Junior High social studies and am very involved with using technology and simulations in my teaching. God has become more real and exciting as I have gone through the "ups and downs" of life. I have traveled to Australia, the Far East, South America, and all the states, except Alaska. I am looking forward to the next adventure, whatever it may be! School
After graduating from Fairview High in TN, I went to Belmont College in Nashville. After 2 years I went to Southern Adventist University in Chatanooga, TN and graduated with a BS in Behavioral Science in 1976. I returned to school in Mankato, MN for Teacher training. After teaching for 15 years I earned my Master's degree from Old Dominion University in VA. I am now in Oregon and hope to begin work on my Specialist or PhD within the next 5 years.
