Linda's Story

(Linda) Susie is from Williamson, West Virginia. Susie's schools include Suitland High School . Susie attended Kentucky Baptist Hospital School of Nursing (Nursing) in Louisville, KY graduating in 1979, Joined the Army Reserves in March 1985 and transferred to U. S. Navy Active Duty in 1989 as a Navy Nurse. Went back to Old Dominion University (Nursing) to complete a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing degree. When transferred to San Diego CA with the Navy, went to Webster University for a Master's of Arts degree (Health Services Management degree) and when transferred to Guantanamo Bay Cuba completed a Master's in Public Administration degree at Troy University. Served in the Navy from August,1989 to September, 2010. Before retiring from the Navy in 2010, I graduated from University of Phoenix with a Doctorate in Health Administration in June, 2009. Lives in Pensacola, FL with mother and husband and four little dogs. Teaches for Norwich University in the On-line Master's of Science of Nursing program. es to complete a Master's of Science in Nursing degree completed in August 2015. My family moved to Maryland in 1958 and we moved to District Heights MD in 1960. Went to Francis Scott Key Junior HIgh and Suitland HIgh School (Class of 1966). Married Mickey (Michael) Ferriter (Class of 1964) in September, 1965 and had two daughters, Traci Ann Ferriter (Nulf) (Jan 1966) and Amy Michele Ferriter (Repp) (April 1967). Mickey and I divorced in April, 1969. I married Michael Gilliom in June, 1970 and we had one son, Micah Wade Gilliom in June, 1973. We divorced in December 1982. Met Master Chief Bill McCord in Virginia Beach in March, 1988 and married in August, 1988, we both grew up in Kentucky. We are celebrating our 28th anniversary this year (2016). Interests include Animals, Film, Food. Music Likes includes Loretta Lynn, Reba McEntire, George Strait. Books likes include The Help, Bible. Movies likes include Flywheel, Facing the Giants the Movie, Fireproof the Movie. TV show likes include NCIS, Bones, Castle, & NCIS:New Orleans
