Lionell's Story
Life
Currently residing in Southern Maryland about 30 miles outside of Wash, DC. Retired as a Master Sergeant two years ago after nearly 21 years in the US Army; never regreted the decision to serve. Against my wife's best wishes; bought a Suzuki GSXR sport bike a few years ago and love every minute of it. Looking at a Victory Hammer S or HD V-Rod/Fat Boy in the near future; with that said, wish me luck on conviencing Angela that I really do need this bike.
School
No real big crushes from high school, well maybe one (RG); on the other hand, remember catching a lot of flack from friends on the football team about V. Wells. Man, I swear her father didn't like me at all when I got to Varsity; let's just say, I had to prove myself worthy just about every day. Overall though, Coach V.W. taught me a lot about leadership and responsibility (may he RIP). Best friend to date is W. Jeffery but after he sees the photo of us with K. Wingate he may disagree.
College

ndergrad a few years ago; currently, I'm nearing completion of graduate school at the Univ. of Maryland College Park; boy, who said school was fun. They lied, its a ton of work but the rewards are great.
Workplace
Took a job with a company in Virgina, which brought me back to work with the Army at the Pentagon. Hey, what can I say; once you go Army no one else measures up. Seriously though, its a great opportunity to continue to serve and support the war fighters. "Army Strong"
Military
Began this journey in June of 1985 at Fort Dix, NJ followed by tours in Germany, Korea, Washington State, Saudia Arabia, Kuwait, and Iraq (don't care to ever do that again, but what can I say; God is good). Spent a couple of tours with the 18th Airborne Corps (Bragg/Fort Stewart, GA) and finshed my career with the White House Military Office Presidential Contingency Programs as the Senior Enlisted Advisor prior to retiring. Best assignment a small town boy could have ever hoped to land.
