Lisa's Story
I have been living in Artesia, NM since Aug. 1980. Married since January 13, 1981.
We have five wonderful children--
Ray Louis Jr. 42 yrs, who lives in Las Vegas, NV. He seems to love the big city life and works as a security supervisor at McCarren Airport.
Homar HobyJoe, or simply Hoby, 40 yrs. is married (Mirna) and has 5 children, Destiny (21), Judah (16), Adan (15), Freddy (11) and Agnes Grace (6yr.). He proudly served in the Marines for 4 yrs. and now lives here in Artesia and is retired from Navajo Refinery.
My twins, Adam Wayne, 37 yrs. is married and has four children, Deeshunay Lily-Ann (forever 17-passed away January 23, 2021 in a car accident), Amalla (18), Ezekiel (11), Makaio (.4 yrs). He is finally living back in Artesia, after serving 9 yrs in the Army and works construction at Navajo Refining.. His twin sister, Jesusita Dianne, 37 yrs., lives here in El ...Expand for more
Paso and has three daughters: Paisley (10) and Kinsleigh (8 yr). and Tesslie (6)
Then our youngest Jack Louis, who is 17 yrs old and has been such a blessing!!! He is a Senior at AHS.
My husband, Louie is from the Hope/ Artesia area. He graduated from AHS in 1969. At that point left with his older brother and worked on the race tracks across the country galloping horses. He came back to Artesia in 1979 and went to work in the oil fields until 1993, then went to work for Navajo Refining until he retired in May '07.
Since graduation I have volunteered, worked, gone to college, raised a family etc....and now enjoy my time with my family. We have 12 grandchildren and a great granddaughter, Penelope Jude (Penny Jo), 1 yr. and another great granddaughter (Deeshunay Noel Rose) due in the Fall of 23.
