Lisa's Story
A few old friends have requested info so here goes! My life story in a 2x3" box. I have been very happily married to my one and only sweetheart of 30+ yrs. to Mike Sailor that I started dating in '75 at STA. We have lived in Houston, TX for 18 yrs. We have Patrick 27, lives in Houston works for energy company, Kate 25, a 8th gr Math teacher in Corpus Christi and Kyle 21, a Sr. at U. of Kentucky trying to get in law sch. e has loved me through some very difficult days, hospitalizations, treatments, side effects, depression and frustration and has never wavered in his devotion to me. He has carried, dragged, pulled, pushed and lugged me around all over the world in my chair. I pledged early on in this journey that I would not let this become my identity, that I wanted to only let it be a small part of who I am. I'm embaressed to say that my time is spent watching reality TV and spending way too much time on the computer. I'm still searching for a hobby I can be passionate about. Does anyone need a sewing machine, scrapbooking stuff, calligraphy kit or a lot of yarn and knitting needles??? The one thing i really enjoy is listening to others who are struggling in life with a dreaded diagnosis or anything else. I do think that is what God has planned for my life.
