Lisa's Story

I spent 20 years working in Northern California and FINALLY have returned home to East TN. I'm currently an Environmental Scientist with a passion for anything new. I have two sons, five dogs, 12 acres, 45 chickens, and about 100 fish. I love gardening, birding, aquariums, quilting, reading, and just about anything new.
I'm currently an Environmental Programs Manager (for high end computer systems) working for Hewlett Packard. I will have my 22nd anniversary this July. I'm Scientist Grade and I focus on strategic direction for my business segments to meet legislatio...Expand for more
n (mostly removal of hazardous materials and finding a replacement that is better for people and the environment) and energy efficiency for server farms. I partner with our recycling programs. I'm also an ardent advocate for Solar PV (electricity) systems for houses, businesses, and especially data centers. I also advocate solar hot water heaters for household use.
I'm also a Gentleman Farmer (I had no idea that chickens could lay so many eggs a day!)... but they are my pets, and I love them. Looking for a home for a huge rat that has found my wildbird seed.. Hugo: not house trained, but evidently living large.
