My Spouse:
I'd joined the Air Force in 1980 and had been at my newest base about a week (in May of '81) and this boy asked if I'd like to see a movie with him the following week. After a severe sunburn landed me in the hospital that weekend, he came to visit me and cracked a joke about "...wow, what a way of getting out of going on a date. All you had to do was say, "No!!" We married in June of '82 and have been together ever since! If you're counting, it's been 30 years as of June 19, 2012
My Pets:
Welllll, our "ark" consisted of 2 dogs, 2 cats, several hamsters, and several fish; however,we are currently down to the big dog, Kenai, the little dog, Cocoa, a Guinea pig and 4 fish.

t married and was hired by the state (West Virginia) to do accounting-type stuff. He is a good bowler and enjoys photography. The girl plays wonderfully on the violin, enjoys drawing and doing artsy-crafty things, is a whiz on the computer, will graduate from college in December of this year (2012) and is in a serious relationship.
Me:
I'm an Instructional Assistant in a special-needs primary-grade classroom with the school system. Some days are diamonds and some are stones!
I'm also artsy-craftsy, have made granny-square afghans for my son and daughter. I have a small stained-glass workshop, a sewing and crafts room, and can handle most hand- and regular power-tools and am able to do projects without electrocuting myself or having any left-over pieces! My most recent project was to install closets in order to make a "bonus" room with 3/4 bath into a master bedroom suite!
