Lisa's Story
Life
I live in North Carolina with my husband of 28 years Joe and our 2 kids.Our daughter is a Senior in college at UNCA, majoring in education and our son is out of high school and working . My husband is a General Contractor and we run his business together. We have lived here for several years and have been renovating our 1883 house and carriage house since we moved in. We really love living here, its beautiful, and I spend alot of time in our garden, and hiking in the mountains. We love it here and I have to say that so far my life has been better than I could have imagined. Workplace
A good part of my working life I worked as a professional florist, having trained in Miami. But for the last 8-9 years I have really just free-lanced as a florist and worked mostly as the Project Manager for the business that my Husband and I own. We specialize in Historic Renovation and are currently working on a 1885 Victoian that we own and are planning on selling. I love to bring something that has so much history back to something so beautiful! There is alot of wonderful old houses here and we have done about 15 now, it is very satisfying work and it is wonderful working with my Son and Husband everyday.
