Lisa's Story
Life
After graduating from Theodore in 1999, I went on to attend the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, MS from 1999-2003. I went on a music scholarship (clarinet), where I marched in the PRIDE of Mississippi marching band, played as a member of the Symphonic Winds, and Clarinet Choir.
I went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education, with an emphasis in Reading. I also recieved a minor in Music, where I am able to teach music (K-12). I did my student teaching at Roselands Primary Schoo...Expand for more
l in England (near London). I graduated on December 12, 2003. In college, I was a member or Tau Beta Sigma Service Organization, as well as Alpha Delta Pi sorority.
I am currently teaching second grade at Peter Joe Hamilton Elementary School, in the Chickasaw/Prichard area in Mobile County.
I married Philip Counselman from Jackson, Alabama, after meeting him at USM. We were married on November 27, 2004 in Mobile.
I play in the orchestra at Christ United Methodist Church; I am also a clarinet player in the Mobile Pops Band.
