Lisa's Story

Life Owner/President of One Alliance Communications, a marketing and brand management firm that I started in 1991. I develop marketing and public relations strategies, being particularly keen to political, social and economic undercurrents and influences. I have served on the board of the American Advertising Federation and been Governor of the 5th District AAF twice, representing Kentucky, Ohio and West Virginia. I have been on the board of Women Leading Kentucky since it began and chaired several committees for the Chamber of Commerce. In 2001, we were honored as Small Business of the Year.

I had tickets to see Elvis in Lexington in August when we got the news that he passed away on this day, August 16, 1977. Here he is about 6 weeks before he died at Riverfront Stadium.
