Lisa's Story

Life The short and sweet of it: Started College Almost got married Dumped boyfriend Quit college to join the Army Got some snakes Married a man that hates cats Got a dog that hates cats Had two kids Got rid of the snakes, because they were so big they were eating rabbits. Got out of the military Moved to NC Son got a spider because they are hard to kill. Graduated College Dog died of cancer Got laid off Husband brought home 3 cats Moved to Wisconsin Found position in desirable company That is about the size of it all. Although in between all the major events other things have happened, that aren't worth mentioning. Catch up with you all at the reunion. School I traveled around so much as a child and ended up attending more schools than I can count on one hand. s positive in that light. However, I never got a chance to really get to know anyone in any one school. College After my first attempt at college soon after high school, I joined the military. At first I wanted to major in Business Administration but I learned that it is really boring. I went back to college after 10 years and found a field that I am really interested in, Network Administration. I love working with and on computers and networks. I would not recommend anyone going to college directly after school, mainly because you need time to find what you enjoy doing in life. Workplace Started in Finance and Business, decided to change careers to Information Systems, because there were no good jobs in Finance. Graduated and found a wonderful position as a Network Technician. Military Went to Fort Stewart, GA and then on to Vicenza, Italy. Got to see Florence, David, Pisa, Verona, Venice, and The Italian Alps. So many things to do, so little time.
