Lisa's Story
Life
After escaping NJ in 1977, I was an AFS domestic exchange program student in Stillwater, MN and then graduated early as I had enough credits. I did come back, at my parents insistence, to WHRHS for the graduation ceremony in June.
After that I spent a year in Israel and returned to attend Hampshire College in Amherst, MA until Jan 1984, during that time I spent a year in London, UK.
After college, I worked briefly in NYC before deciding to take advantage of an op...Expand for more
portunity to spend the summer working in Paris. In June of 1984 I went to Paris for 3 months and met the man who I would later marry. I have lived in France for over 23 years now. Albert and I have a beautiful 16 yr old daughter and are still very happily married.
We worked in Tourism together for over 15 years and now own a restaurant together. I also work for an NGO involved in European politics full time during the week.
Not very much free time, but life is good.
