Lisa's Story

Was an artist & crafts person & had various boring jobs until -- from need -- I invented the Jogbra -- the 1st sports bra -- in 1977 and built a company around it for next 12 years. (Polly Smith helped with its original design!) Sold the company in 1990. Left "corporate" in '92. (Now it is all "Champion Sportswear"). bsites up here, it seems! Recently went back to school to get a Master's degree (education was interrupted by earning a living). Love to travel. Most recently to New Zealand. Hasn't been all roses & sunshine -- cancer and deaths and big changes; transition & transformation, as I'm fond of saying. It is what it is! Am now writing a book; am still drawing & painting (never stopped, really). Live in both Vermont and Northern California. Have a husband and family and cats. Miss the Jersey shore, though! I hate these things -- its all memememe stuff! Where are all of you?? PJ Ackerman? Chris Chell (only attended Kimberley in 7th & 8th grade, I think). Roxie Faulkner? Susan Penick? To name only a very few... Ain't life grand?
