Lisa's Story
Life
I live in Groves. Happily married to Sammy Valastro originally from Galveston. He's cousins with Frank, Sammy, Tony & John all of who went to High Island at some time(I think).I have two beautiful daughters, Tina 28 from my 1st marriage and Alexi almost 11. I have two awesome grandsons, Jared age 5 and Jace age 3.
I still have horses.
College
I went to John's Beauty College in LaMarque in 1980 & 1981. Started taking classes at Lamar Port Arthur in 1987. I mostly took computer classes, office management classes, worked on a technical degree in computer science.
Workplace
Let's just say, I started out as a hairstylist. Then I worked for ...Expand for more
an engineering firm for a while, mostly doing data entry but I did learn the basics of computer programming and cad drafting. Then, I went into seafood management, first for my family and then for HEB. In 2006 I was recruited by Farmers Insurance and became an agent. In July 2007, I rented an office in Port Neches on Saba Lane with 2 other agents. My agency is the Elizabeth Valastro Insurance Agency, 3154 Saba Lane, Suite B, Port Neches, Tx 77651. 409-729-LISA or 5472. After having lived in Bolivar through Alecia, my daughter lived in New Orleans for Katrina, and then being hit here in Groves by Rita, insurance seemed like a good way to try to help people!
