Lisa's Story
I had one child, a daughter, in December of 1988. She is now 19 and has a son who is 6 months old (which clearly makes me a grandma, but let's not go there...) She and her husband live in Ohio.
A year or so out of high school, I began dating and eventually married the guy I had loved since middle school. We are still together and we have four
children. We have three sons who are currently 12, 9, and 7 years old, and a daughter who is currently 11 years old. They all attend Paramount Charter Academy in Kalamazoo.
In college I doubled majored in English and Political Science, and doubled minored in Philosophy and History. I then went to law school and received my JD. I was admitted to the Michigan State Bar in 2005.
I am currently doing computer/electronic discovery work for class action lawsuits at a large Kalamazoo firm. This is my absolute dream job - I stare at the computer all day and read documents - thousands of pages a day. It doesn't pay much, but there is definitely something to be said for loving what you do. :)

r Eaton until they closed his plant a few years ago. Now, he is a stay-at-home dad. It's actually kind of funny to call him that, because he spends so much time driving the kids back and forth to school, allergy shots, doctors' appointments, sports, and also volunteering at school, that he isn't really home all that much. In fact, I think I am home more than he is!
Since I've run out of ideas, Story Wizard here thinks it can help.
"You get one do-over. What do you do differently?"
Oh wow - everything! Well, at least everything from about 1st grade to college! Once I got to college, I seriously was not happy with the person I had been up to that point and worked hard to change. I doubt anyone would even recognize me from that point on. (Well, OK, Matt Lager, from high school, happened to be at the Swearing In Ceremony when I became licensed as an attorney, and he recognized me. I was floored - it had easily been 18 years since he'd seen me, I didn't have the same name, did NOT look the same, but he recognized me! That still amazes me to this day.)
