Michael's Story
Life
I guess I should say that of all the things I've done in my lifetime so far, the things I'm most proud of are serving my country with both the Navy and Marine Corp and marrying the most wonderful person imaginable. Everything else pales in comparison to this. I thank God for all the good things that He has afforded my family and never fail to give Him praise. What more can I say?
School
I regret that I was such a shy kid. I would have liked to have been more social with new friends in a new school because most of the students were very likable, especially the girls. It took another three years after high school to shed the shyness.

Military
My military career began as a recruit at the Great Lakes Naval Training Center in Great Lakes, Ill.. I was there for twenty two months attending the Dental Technician School for sixteen weeks followed by six months in the Dental Prosthetics School. My first permanent duty station was also at the Training Center after schooling. My last thirteen months were spent at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina as a member of the Fleet Marine Force, 4th Dental Company. After basic training I received two promotions before entering civilian life and on to college. I still feel a sense of pride for having served in both the Navy and the Marine Corp.
