Lois's Story
In 1965 I got saved at a Billy Graham Crusade at the Houston Astrodome. Since then I have tried to live my life to the glory of God. After graduating from Galena Park High in 1971, I went to the University of Houston and three years later, in 1974, I received a bachelor’s degree in Accounting. That same year I was married and started my first accounting job. Two years later I had my only daughter, Chrissy, and eighteen months after that I had my only son, Dell. In 1981 I started a tax and bookkeeping service from my home so I could be a stay at home Mom. And in 1998, I went back to the workplace outside my home after getting a biblical divorce. retirement severance package. So now I am retired and loving it!! I have nine grandchildren, and I live in Spring, Texas in a two bedroom home on the same half-acre property as my son. On October 18, 2019, I published my first book entitled Jesus’ Intimacy with His Bride. It is available for purchase on Amazon.com. I am now working on my second book.
I love to read the Bible. I minister biblical counseling when needed. I love to travel. I've been to Singapore 4 times visiting a person and her family. She's like a daughter to me. I've been to Sydney Australia; the east coast; west coast; and the mid-west, of the US. I love to visit historical places. I recently went to Kentucky to visit the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter. One of my bucket list places to visit is the Pearl Harbor Memorial in Hawaii. I love WWII movies. I'm a sports enthusiast. I love routing for the Astros, the Texans, and the Rockets.
