In 1965 I got saved at a Billy Graham Crusade at the Houston Astrodome. Since then I have tried to live my life to the glory of God. After graduating from Galena Park High in 1971, I went to the University of Houston and three years later, in 1974, I received a bachelor’s degree in Accounting. That same year I was married and started my first accounting job. Two years later I had my only daughter, Chrissy, and eighteen months after that I had my only son, Dell. In 1981 I started a tax and bookkeeping service from my home so I could be a stay at home Mom. And in 1998, I went back to the workplace outside my home after getting a biblical divorce.
