Lois's Story
Back then I was Miss toughy, but today I am a teacher in elementary school and the proud mother of three children, one of whom is a U. S. Marine. I guess I decided to become an educator because of Mr. Vincent D. Crosby, Mr. Passen and others at P.S. 75 who inspired me with their individual style of teaching...I thought they were soooo cool and smart even if at the time they seemed a bit radical... what I mean is they were teachers who were willing to take a stand for what they believed in... and they were excelle...Expand for more
nt educators...that's me the eternal rebel...with a cause... to educate those that others have deemed impossible to educate for it is my belief that everyone can learn, the educator must only be patient and creative in order to motivate or get the desired response...that's what I try to do...and if it works for some students then it was all worth while.If any of my old classmates read this they would probably laugh because they know how much of a handful I was back then but yes it's Lois the teacher today folks...
