Loni's Story
Life
After graduating from high school I went to San Diego State. Once I received my degree I left for South America with the Peace Corps.
I did my Peace Corps training in Puerto Rico and spent 2 years working in public health in Ciudad del Este, Paraguay. After Paraguay I lived and worked in Brazil for 4 years, my oldest daughter was born there. From Brazil we moved to Venezuela and finally to Switzerland where I have been living for the last 29 years.

d to a Swiss man and have been happily divorced since 1992. My 3 wonderful daughters are grown up and living their own lives.
After getting a degree in Adult Education, I started working with mentally handicapped adults in Zurich.
I am active in a union, involved in politics and belong to an older women's feminist group.
I don't own a car, use only public transportation and recycle everything.
I still believe we really can change the world-inspite of everything!
