College After 3 years at the University of Oklahoma, I transfered to Mississippi State University to finish up my Meteorology Degree. I finally graduated in December 2004 and got a full time job with the National Weather Service (I had been a student employee for over a year). I completed my Masters Degree in Public Administration and Leadership in 2008, graduating from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin. Workplace After graduation, I got a job with the National Weather Service in Jackson, MS. About 8 months later, I bid on a forecaster position in Midland, TX and got it. I left Jackson 3 weeks before Hurricane Katrina blew through and ripped apart the Mississippi and Louisana Coasts.
