Lori's Story
I hope my friends will remember me as funny, fun to be around. I was, and still am a faithful friend, someone you can trust.
I always wanted to be a Actress or talk show host when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a Crazy idea. As it turns out, they were right.
My favorite way to relax is sitting with a good friend laughing or crying, whatever the mood or topic of conversation, with a good glass of wine and a cigarette
The wildest thing I ever did in school was to start the bathroom on fire, it was a total accident, I was playing with my lighter and lit the paper towel in the dispenser, and the whole thing just went up in flames, I was suspended to say the least, and had to go to court. It was actually very stupid, and scary.
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have Humor, nice people, and happy doing what I am doing to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
Good question, yes I have a few heros actually, the first one would be my husband, he is my inspiration, my soul mate, he has made all my dreams come true. The second would have to be my other mother Mary. She has made me the person I am today, if it wasn't for her I am not sure where I would be today. Last but not least would have to be my old president at the bank I work at, he is retired now, but he made me see myself in a whole new light, he taught me that I am a good person, and to have confidence in myself. He taught me self respect. I will never forget him for that.
I lived only in CT. I grew up in Orange, when I was 11, my parents got divorced and moved us to Branford, where I have been ever since.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Gail Beverage, because we were really good friends.
I would also love to see Chris Kovi, we had a lot of fun too!
I love to watch American Idol, that is mine & my daughters favorite reality TV show. General Hospital is my obsession! Love that show
My biggest surprise in life ...Expand for more
would have to be finding my husband, and having a beautiful daughter. I am a really great Mom, better than I ever thought I would be! Another big surprise is that I am a carreer woman, I never thought I would be. I am a banker, and doing very well.
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel My kitchen and add on a Huge bathroom with a huge tub!. My dream home would be In Cape Cod on the water.
Oh my, I have learned a lot from my daughter, she taught me how to love. I learned that you have to have patience, and time to listen to them. She is my life!
I would love to see Mr. Ruck from the middle school. I actually see a lot of teachers from my past, my daughter goes to the middle school and a lot of my teachers are still there.
If I won $100 million, I'd give most of it to my family, take all my friends on a great cruise, go to Italy, then spend the rest on a home in the Cape, One in California and My husband & daughter.
My current age is 43. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be very old. I was so completely wrong!.
My first crush dosen't know he was my first crush, so I can't say. I would love to see him again though!
I believe he may just read this!
My best friend would tell you I'm funny, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as funny.
No I don't dress the same, only because my dress size has changed!!! My hair is pretty much the same though
If I had one do-over I would not have quit school and missed my prom, I would do anything to change that.
In 10 years, I hope to be running the bank. I'm going to get there by doing a good job.
My first job was at 16, where I got paid crap to prep a salad bar. What I remember most about it is I quit school for this! Big mistake.
My childhood memory I will never forget is Kissing Jeff Smith, my old neighbor in Orange, under the Pussy Willow tree in my yard. I was about 8 years old. it was just a peck, but I will never forget it.
