Life
June 2008.....I am still teaching 1st grade at West School in Coolidge, Arizona. I'll be starting my 9th year here. I graduated in May 2004 from NAU in Flagstaff with my Masters Degree in Elementary Education and a Reading Specialist Endorsement. My son, Trevor, is now 14 and going to high school!! Yikes! I also have guardianship of an 11 yr. old girl named Alyissa, whom we're trying to adopt. I'm married to a wonderful man, Pete. He has an 11 yr. old daughter, Alexsis, and custody of his 6 yr. old son, Austin. (Yeah for me! 2 girls the same age! Should be an exciting time at s...Expand for more

We were trying to move back somewhere closer to Nebraska this past year. My husband applied for job after job. Since he has custody of his son, he couldn't find a job that paid what he's making here to prove to the courts it was in Austin's best interest. Therefore, we went ahead and bought a house and decided to stay for awhile. Pete's from here, so I guess that's ok. My son's starting high school and didn't really want to move anyways since he's got all his friends and such. So here we are!
