Lori's Story
I can't believe it's been 25 years since high school! It can't possibly be that long since I drove the Nova to school and spent my days dodging buckets in the band room. But I guess the years have flown by...like the song says, "Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans."
Things don't always go according to plan, that's for sure. I got my teaching degree from Ohio University and returned to Andover, where I led the glamorous life of a substitute teacher and (eventually) divorce statistic. Yikes. greatest guy -- we were paired up in a wedding party! Three years later we were married in Las Vegas.
Doug and I have lived in Las Vegas nearly ten years. Our daughter Anna is 8, and our son Jackson is 6. Right now I am a stay-at-home mom, and just finished my Counseling Degree at UNLV. We love living out West, and our busy family helps to keep me young...although the amount of REO Speedwagon and Michael Stanley Band on my IPod is a dead giveaway. :)
I don't get back to Andover as often as I'd like, and the last class reunion seems like ages ago. I'd love to hear from other nostalgic classmates -- whether it's odd memories or your latest news -- if you get a minute.
