Lori's Story
I moved to Chico from back East in 1976 when I was 13, I had a hard time trying to fit in, was an odd ball that loved rock music and singing and dancing, by 15 I was a "Party Animal" and did'nt fit in with the High school crowd, in 1981 at 18 I married one of my High school sweethearts to try and change my life. He joined the Air Force and we moved to Washington state where we had one daughter,in 1985 we moved to Mountain Home Idaho (where I still live) and had another daughter. d a son and married in 1994, when our son Josh was 5 mo. old I got pregnant again with twins right after becoming an EMT, my husband Larry got sick with terminal cancer, one of our twins died in utero and I lost Larry to cancer in Oct. 1996, then in April 1997 our surviving twin son Jordan drowned in the canal across the street from my home at 16 mo. old. I was clean and sober for seven years, after losing my husband and two children have had on/off again struggles (have been clean for quite a while now) and very Spiritual.
