Lori's Story
Life
After graduating from high school in 1988, I had initially joined the US Air Force. I realized (before I had left for basic training) that I had made a mistake in enlisting. I got out of my military commitment and started at UNM in summer of 1989. I graduated in 1993 with a B.A. in Economics.
I started working as a Brokerage Trader at Fidelity Investments in Cincinnati, Ohio in the fall of 1993. It was there that I met my husband, Greg, and we were married in September 1995. We moved to the Denver suburb of Highlands Ranch in the summer of 1998 because of a job opportunity for Greg with Merrill Lynch.
During this time we also did lots of traveling to virtually all of the US and have made three different trips to Europe visiting Germany, England, Wales, France and Italy. I also spent the first three months of 2001 working in the war torn country of El Salvador...Expand for more
doing mission work.
This was all before we had our first son, Eli, in January 2002 and our second son, Nate, in June 2003. My days are now filled with patty cakes, singing the ABCs, trips to the zoo and the neighborhood park. At this stage of my life, I couldn't be happier or ask for more!

Update: Now that my boys are going to preschool each morning, we thought it might be a good time to add a little girl to our family. I wasn't too hip on the thought of another pregnancy and figured there are so many kids in this world waiting to be adopted and we love to travel so why not go that route?
I'm happy to announce the adoption of our daughter, Anya, from Ivanovo, Russia, on February 27, 2007. She is already proving to be a fabulous addition to our family and we really enjoying seeing her thrive in her new surroundings.
