Life Hello Classmate, After High School, I chose to enter the workplace without passing 'GO' (college). I started out as a Junior Secretary for UMA Engineering and progressed onto Lion Business Machines (now Ikon Office Solutions), Fountain Tire Head Office, Medical Resorts International Inc, KAOS Niteclub and Hewlett Packard (all located in Edmonton, Alberta). Well, I was sick and tired of scraping my windshield and freezing my fingers off trying to plug my car in every night, so I went to Hewlett Packard's bigwigs and requested a transfer to a warmer climate. I was hoping for Hawaii but they sent me to Beautiful British Columbia - Langley to be exact (the birthplace of our High School President - David Muddle) So in February of 2000, I packed up everything I owned into my Eagle Vista and headed west. I did have an ulterior motive for moving to the Coast... that's where Hollywood North is! They were making a ton of movies and I had wanted to get back into acting. Well, I have to tell you... the rain hit at about Hope, BC and NEVER QUIT UNTIL MAY!!!!!!!! I am so sick of people saying "Well, at least you don't have to shovel rain!". True enough... but my response is always "Yeah... well Alberta is sunny all the time and snow doesn't wreck a hairdoo!". Anyways, I continued to work for Hewlett Packard in Richmond for a short time and I gave my notice in August of 2000. I enrolled in a Stunt School in the States and spent time in Seattle training to be a stuntwoman for the movies. I have to say that it was probably the hardest thing I ever had to do. All went well and I had the opportunity to work on a couple of films including Stephen King's "Rose Red" and "Freddie Got Fingered". I ended up badly hurting my knee in an unrelated accident and had to wait for surgery so I ended up back in the ...Expand for more
