Lori's Story
Life
I'm happily married to a wonderful man who hails from London, England.( My second marriage) Together we have seven terrific children, ranging in age from 23 years to 10 years( Melissa 23, Cameron 22, Kathleen 21, Gregory 20, Matthew 16, Hunter 15 and Arran 11). I have recently closed shop with my business and quit my job so that I may return to school in September to become a Personal Support Worker. Retail Management was fun for a while but it's had it's time and now I'm ready to carry on with something more personally rewarding. I don't have a lot of free time, but when I do have some, I like to spend it reading or working on my hobbies (sewing, cross-stitching, crocheting, knitting, cooking and wood-working). Over the years I've lived in Germany(for 6 months) and Quebec( for 3 years)where Matthew was born, but I always come home to Ajax.There are so many people I'd love to re-connect with from my school days, but four people in particular that were such an integral part of my life,Deanne Puder, Tracey Dunn, Carylan Thomas and Susan Heacock. If any of you ladies, or anyone knowing where they can be reached, read this, please contact me. Boy I hated school ! If I could go back and do it all over again would I? Most definitely. The biggest regret that I have about school, is that I didn't realize my full potential back then.I allowed the few people who found it necessary to belittle me, in order to make themselves feel/look better in their own and others eyes, dictate how I would perceive life in general. Was I wrong? You better believe it!If I could go back in time, knowing what I know now, I would have enjoyed my formative years, become the strong, self-confident person that I could have been and applied myself, both in class and during extra-curricular activities. Do I hold any grudges? No way! If those same individuals hadn't treated me to those early life lessons, I would not be the determined, confident, caring and successful person I am today. So, thank you,( and you know who you are) for inadvertantly teaching me such valuable life lessons. I only hope life has been as kind to you as it has to me.
To those of you who were true friends, in every sense of the word, I love you all, for who you were and who I am certain you have become. Deanne,Stefanie,Tracy,Anne,Sue,Carylan you were the best friends one could hope to have ! I wish you much happiness and success in every facet of your lives.
