Lorna's Story
Life
I was born and reared in Mansfield, Oh. I attended Mansfield Christian School from the 8th -12th grades. I then attended Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Mo. and graduated with a B.S. in Education.
I married Duane Wilmot (from Chicago) right after I graduated from college and we moved to Nashville, Tn. where we both taught.
Duane switched careers and started working for CDC (Centers for Disease Control) out of Atlanta, Ga. We were moved around a bit. Chicago, Il., Memphis, Tn., Indianapolis, In., and finally here in Atlanta,(Lawrenceville) Ga. where we now live.

My parents moved in with us 11 years ago because my Mom wasn't doing well. I decided to stay home and help with my mom.
I have 2 girls. Tyne has gaduated from Cumberland Univ. in Ky. with Communication and Theater degrees. She is now married and living here in Atlanta.
Kala has graduated from Anderson Univ. in S. Carolina. She is married and is a H.S. History teacher in a Christian School in Loganville GA. not far from us.
My mother died in Dec. 2012 and my dad is still living with us.
I subsitute teach from time to time.
Duane, my husband, has been diagnosed with Parkinson's. We are teaching a singles group at our church and enjoy being used of the Lord.
