Lorrie's Story
Hi everyone, I just want to say hello, and want you to know that I never forget my fellow students at Maria Regina.
Today I am living in the Anza Borrego Desert with my youngest daughter Connie, and my dear Downsyndrome son, Alec. The one place in California where I would ever even consider as a place to make my home, was the desert, but here I am, living in the desert. gs is a very small town, we do not even have a Mc Donalds here. I love living in a small town, and hope Borrego stays this way, but I doubt it will. It has already grown tremendously since I first became familiar with the area about 32 years ago. We have lived here for just about 13 years. We only have about 4 or 5 weeks left of nearly unbearable heat, and then it will be cool again, and spirits lifted.
