Luke's Story
Life
Most of these bio questions that are used as a standard are lame, so I'll just kinda wing it.
I left Westwego in 1985 after getting my Good-Enough-Diploma. Most of you that know me understand why, considering my friends. Ray Ogeron, Dave Garcia, Dave Rosenbaum and I found our share of trouble through High School. Ray and Garcia are no longer with us, but I actually had a visit from Rosenbaum a few months ago at my home in Orlando FL. Oh yea, I guess I forgot to mention that I moved here after finding it nearly impossible to get a job in 1985 after the oilfield crash. Im sure a lot of you remember that.
Anyway, I got married a few years after I moved here, but that didnt last very long. No children, no bad feelings, no foul. We were just too young.
THEN....I met the right one. We have a 10 year old daughter, a nice little house in a rural area outside of town about 10 miles from the Mouse House(Disney)and we have possibly the best neighbors ever to share a neighborhood. Street parties, fishing in the back yard, and every holiday is celebrated at a designated house. My official Holiday is Halloween.

ctor. New construction is booming here, and Ive been doing very well. My wife is a accountant and H.R. Director in the tourist industry in Orlando. As you can imagine, there's no shortage of that here. She's a great wife and mother, and I couldn't be happier. She may not have the same sentiment as me, as I can be somewhat difficult at times. Must be the Coonass in me.
I haven't taken up any old man hobbies yet, although Im getting up in age. I enjoy playing paintball and riding motocross, but a recent accident has kept me off my bike for a few months.I tore my knee up pretty good, so I might be done for good.At least there's plenty of great golf courses here, and the fishing and hunting are pretty good to.
All of my family still live in Louisiana. My Mom and Dad still live in the house where I grew up in Westwego. My 3 sisters all moved to Luling. Seems St. Charles Parish has better schools and less crime. I visit home about 3 or 4 times a year, but I've never run into anyone from school. There are a few of you I'd like to see next time I'm up there. As a matter of fact, we'll be there Christmas 2003.
I guess this is enough info for now. Hope to hear from some of you.
