Luke's Story

Luke is from New Ross, Nova Scotia, Canada. Luke's schools include New Ross Consolidated High School. One of Luke's favorite quotes is:""we are all the same"". More about Luke:"I think that everyone is the same, regardless of what our different societies, religions, and our brainwashed ancestors have taught us to except and even think is normal. It is not normal to hate someone. Especially if you have never even spoken with them, and even if you do speak, both of your perceptions are usually disorted from your defective programing,so they never truly see each other for what they really are.Take a hundred babies from all sorts of nationalities, predjudiced parents, and totally different religous or cultural backgrounds and they will be happy to get love from anyone no matter the color of their skin or what their ignorant parents plan to teach them, and the sad part of it all, is that 99 percent of humans dont even realize they are robbing their children of true happiness and confining them within major barriers so they cant enjoy life for what it truly can be,they are giving their beloved offspring all the tools they need to succeed at a meaningless life ,so instead of being happy for what they are with a natural, untainted perception and awesome diversity this planet offers, they hurl their children into an endless struggle for happiness, which will surely be met with nothing but temopary flashes of joy, then the inevitable misery and pain that will most definately follow the closed minded people wherever they go and no matter how good their parents and society tells them they are doing cause they got their big promotion, the house they WANT,that new sports car they needed to feel worthy of their peirs, the trophy wife ...Expand for more
that they can now afford and show off with, something is still missing(true happiness)but what really hurts me is when these poor material chasing people teach their children that to be successful, happy and worthy to be in their family or society they must get a high paying job rather then the job they would enjoy because in order to be happy you must attain as many worldly things as possible,no matter who you hurt along your pointless, hectic, existence on earth as long as you get what you want, screw everyone else! It is so easy to see stress, anger, hatred, resentment, misery, pain turmoil,etc.. They are basically all caused by the same thing,"i like to call it the hunt for happiness".HOWEVER by running after all the attachments in todays society,it is no wonder everyone is so judgemental and filled with overwhelming negativity, that they dont even have time or the dignity to say hi or even nod their head at one of their own brothers or sisters, that is shameful,so whether you believe in God or pure evolution,we are all related just by being human,so if we are a civilized people then maybe we should stop hating and hurting each other and start helping and healing what we have left as the Human race.My whole purpose as is evey other Human is to pass on what we have learned throughout our lives to all our fellow species. If we could tame a poor dog so much he doesnt even know he is a dog anymore, surely we can train ourselves to get along and help each other rather than hinder.I love all nature,we should have never messed with nature in the first place, and we all know that ,but humans take the natural joy right from their own flesh and dont even see it,so our demise is enevitable, yet we mostly remain totally OBLIVIOUS!!!".
