Lydia's Story
After graduation from South I went into the work force. I worked in retail sales for about 12 years until I became a mom. I took off a few years to raise my kids. Let me tell you though, it wasn't easy being a single mother of three, I went through some ups and downs for awhile but God is good! With His blessings and the help of my family we made it through it all. Thank you God! When I returned to the work force I went back into retail sales for a few years until I was blessed with a job working with the school system. later I was blessed again with my best friend, the love of my life, my husband, Malik. God is good! We will be married three years this June 2009.
Together we have five wonderful kids,
Bianca 19, Lucas 18, Brandon 17, Ariana 13 and Nicholas 11. We still live in Y-Town and are very happy! I had some good times at South and the years after and I have no regrets because it made me the person I am today!
