Well After High School I went to Antelope Valley Junior College(played a little tackle football in the L.A. Colliseum before the Rams and Saints played-promoting women's athletics). I then went to U.C.L.A. and majored in Kinesiology and ran track(the first women's track team at U.C.L.A.). I went to California State University Chico for my graduate work and to get my teaching credential. While I was there I coached my first track team at Paradise High School. My first teaching and coaching job was at Burney Junior-Senior high school. After three years there I went back to Southern Calif and worked at Yucca Valley High School/coached(both my husband and I worked at the same high school). In 1984 I divorced my first husband(I had three dauhters) and went to work at Nellie Coffman middle school in Cathedral City. In 1989 I remarried and eventually ended up in Columbus, Georgia where I worked for 12 years at Eddy Middle School. In between there I picked up a couple of extra degrees(Masters and a Ed.S degree). I now teach and coach at Columbus High School(magnet program). I have about 4 years to retire. Inbetween all of this I have traveled all over the world, plus all 50 states. I am going to Russia this summer(08). I was a Fullbright Master Teacher in Japan in 2005.
